So I finally took Gweniveve to the park. I had been worried about her getting dirty and ruining her clothes and also having to chase after her the whole time, but I let all of that go and let her be. She loved the sand and luckily she did not put it in her mouth.
She is totally into this thing of feeling everything with her face
Gwen and Sawyer, they are the same age but as you can see Sawyer will stay in his stoller, Gwen has to be free.

I love those pictures.....too fun. I can't believe she did not try and eat it...I let Sawyer down and he ate a ton of it....you crack me up with the whole not getting dirty thing but you did a great job at the park.
I am sorry I missed you guys. Did you hear what happened to me? Brody and I were hanging out by ourselves at the other park that all of our ward used to meet at as of last week. I obviously didn't know we changed parks. Luckily, Abby finally called me back to tell me where they were. Anyway, sounds like you had a ton of fun though. Next time maybe I can be there :)
The park just isn't the same unless you go home with sand in the diaper, in the mouth, and all over the clothes and in the hair. Looks like Gweniveve did a good job of all of that! I hope you have just as many enjoyable trips back to the park.
By the way, I loved the pic of her with face rubbing in the sand....that is so funny!
I can't believe you can go to the park right now...I'm going very stir crazy with winter being SO LONG! Parker never liked to sit in his stroller, either!
I missed seeing her with her face in the sand. I was very impressed with your ability to let her do her own thing and she is good at handling the freedom.
I am also impressed with your blogging- how long were you home from the park when you posted this? (I just got home, which is why I am the last to comment).
Carter always had his face in the sand also but he wasn't just feeling it, he was inhaling mouthfuls at a time. She looks like she is having the best time. Good job just letting things go, I have to tell my self that too sometimes.
I had only been home about an hour when I posted this, sometimes I am obsessed!!!
