shop til you drop

Our weekend, or should I say Saturday, we spent from morning until night shopping. Brett & I needed clothes and odds and ends so we spent our whole day going to many stores. We only came home for a couple of hours so that Gwenie could have her nap. It is so not like us to shop all day, especially with a VERY active daughter, but it needed to be done.

This is what we did to kept the VERY active daughter occupied. Brett let her play in the fountain and get wet while I tried clothes on.

Playing in the fountain

I had Gwenie hang upside down and sit on my shoulders and I ran around with her, galloping like a horse to keep her happy. I probably looked funny, but most people laughed along with Gwenie.

Crazy, I know, but she loves being upside down

Needless to say we were glad to be home, but dreadfully tired. It was a long day, but we got alot done, especially since the next couple of Saturday's I have dentist appointments, YUCK!!!!

Also Congrats to me for my 100th post, I can't believe it.

I hate shopping for me unless Bryan is with me- so I am jealous about that. Ditto about the skirt.

Long day....especially going out again after the nap. Bryan would have been so bummed to shop all day. He is like most guys...he's on a mission; he knows what he needs/wants and is done in 10 min. That was nice of Brett to hang in there.

I love Gwenie's cute little heart dress!

Amazing day...one to remember. Once Steven shoped for furniture for a whole day with me...without a complaint. We furnished a whole room in one day. It was a once in a lifetime day. Your skirt is so cute too and of course Gwenie is adorable and probably entertained many weary shoppers.
