chatting.

For those who do not know you can, for free no less, video chat on Gmail. Google launched video chat, whoo hoo. If you have a Gmail account instead of chatting with your friends why not video chat??? Read about it here.

Erin and I tried it out the other day. I will say that there are some hiccups still. We were frozen a couple of times and had to restart and the picture is fuzzy, but other than that it is great. It was great for Gwenie and Mason to reconnect and to actually see each other. Gwenie kept kissing the screen trying to get to Mase and pointing at his face (we are working on saying his name, but she is being stubborn on that front).

Gwen actually took this picture herself. I swear she knows more about this computer than I do. I am still trying to figure out what she did so that I can do it too.

Goggle chat

Next step is to set this up at my parents house when I go for Thanksgiving. Hopefully it will work out and my parents can figure it out, because I REALLY want to be able to video chat with them. I love that computers now have a camera built into it. Needless to say I love Apple products. I could not live with out my MacBook Pro, it is fantastic and never has any problems. We ALWAYS had problems with our HP, ARG!!!!

When Erin and Marc still lived in California, we had the old computer-cam hooked up. It was so nice being able to see Mason learn how to sit at the computer, then crawl all over the keyboard to get to the screen. It was wonderful! Except the dog in Salt Lake kept barking at the dogs in California, and vice-versa. But what a great invention to keep in touch!
