Bath Time

Ever since Gweniveve got her cast off, which has been almost 3 weeks, she has HATED her bath. She acted like she thought she was going to drown. She stood up and would not lay or sit in it and play with her toys, all she did was scream her head off to get out of there. I was very sad because bath time was always so fun and she used to love it, but those sponge baths those 3 weeks really changed her to not like the bath. But yesterday she played with her toys and had tons of fun again!!!! I was so happy because bath time had become headache time for Brett and I, but not anymore.

Thirsty anyone????

How sad! But I wonder if it really was the cast- both my boys went through the same phase. They have showers most of the time now but that is because it is SO hard to get Austin out of the bath (his doctor said with his eszema baths need to be short).

Glad to see her independence about baths was short lived.

Noah loves baths...Sawyer HATES them...he usually ends up in the shower it is just easier. Glad Gwen likes them again!!! I love the picture of her trying to drink from the faucet taht is classic!!!

I would die if my kids started hating their baths. Sometimes I let me kids play in the bath for as long as an hour. I fold clothes and stuff and they play...it is so great! Glad to hear she's back to lovin' the bath!

She's adorable... but that picture of her drinking out of the faucet is grossing me out. Isn't there all sorts of calcium buildup in there? Ugh!

I know I couldn't get her to stop and so I gave up!!! she wants to put everything in her mouth, I had just cleaned the bathroom anyway so hopefully it was to bad.

That's definitely good news that she's loving the bath again...it is definitely my life-saver when I'm in a hurry to get ready to go somewhere...just stick Parker in the bath, then let him play until I'm ready to go!
