A Utah Christmas

Utah was alot of fun, especially that we got to hang out with my parents. As you can see Gweniveve got a black eye on Christmas, she fell when Brett, my mom and dad and I were watching a movie and I turned away from her for a second and she fell and pulled a TV tray with her and it fell on her cheek and caused an immediate black eye. Brett played "Extreme Ping-Pong" with my nephews. The loser has to pull up his shirt and the winner gets to hit him with a ping pong as hard as he can, as you can see by the welts. I made Brett pose in the snow with me because I really wanted a picture with the snow falling, it was freezing and REALLY windy, but we got the picture. Brett did not do the traditional opening Santa gifts in your Pj's, he HAD to shower first so only my parents and Gwenie and I were in our Pj's. My mom made us aprons with our names on them and Gwenie looks so cute in hers. Also we got to see a bunch of my nephews and nieces and say goodbye to Chandler as he is leaving soon on his mission to Samoa. Our good friends Marc and Erin and Mason also came out to see us since they moved to Utah and it was great to see them again. Gwen did really good in the car for the long drive and Brett and I were so happy that she loved her DVD player and watched her movies.

I think if you start young enough, long car rides are a "usual" thing and then they aren't so horrible. Looks like a great trip.

Gwenie seems to be pretty accident prone...poor thing! Broken leg and a black eye before her first birthday...that's impressive! I'm glad you had a fun trip...at least your parents are in Cedar and not Salt Lake...those last 3 1/2 hours are killer!

I have been the biggest slacker following up on your blog. I love all of these pictures! You nieces and nephews are so grown up - I can hardly figure out who they are!
