9 years ago today. I thought it would be fun to remember the very first year, so here are a few things.

• Well the obvious one.......I will spare you all.
• On our wedding day having my brother Travis introduce himself to Brett just after we were married. LOL. Brett had not met most of my siblings yet.
• Having all my brothers and sisters at the temple to see me get married. This was the first time we were all in the temple together.
  
• Our honeymoon in Cancun was AWESOME. My first time out of the country and in a 5 star hotel.
• Getting food poisoning and a BAD bladder infection did not stop me on our honeymoon. I still think it was such a great vacation.
  
• Moving into our first apartment. A studio (which now is probably the same size as our current bedroom) on Ball Road in Anaheim.
• Not having a dishwasher that first year in our studio. A disaster and we promised that would never happen again!
  
• Coming home from work one day (it had been an awful day) with candles everywhere and Brett with a single pink rose for me! (I won't tell you what he was wearing)
• Brett getting a colonoscopy and the doctor brought me into the room after and showed me the video and pointed out all the problem areas. I about fainted! I am not one for looking at medical stuff.
  
• Getting a Disneyland pass for the first time in my life.
  
• Going to Disneyland every chance we got, especially since we lived down the street from it.
• Working at SBC phone company under my Mother in law. She was a ton of fun.
  
• Getting my wisdom teeth out. Pure craziness. We did not have medical insurance yet and so we had to pay for it ourselves. I was very nervous getting knocked out for the first time, but demanded that I get knocked out since I knew that was the only way I would get the procedure done.
• Learning all the fun and curky things about each other. For there are many.
  

Next year is a BIG one so lets hope it finds us not sick (I am sick this time cold/flu I think since I have a fever) and still having an awesome time! Love Ya Bretty.
