Weekend fun.

We have been really lazy and not doing a whole lot since Brett is still on the mend from his Gall Bladder surgery and I only have so much energy at 8 months. We did come outside and hang while Gwenie rode her scooter so I brought out my camera for some fun pics. This one I got of her as she was zipping by, she is super fast on her scooter.

I LOVE this picture I got of Brett. I know everyone will think that he looks annoyed or something but if you truly knew Brett this is him relaxed. It is a true likeness.



Even though it is getting colder it is still flip flop weather. I will be sad when I can't slip shoes on anymore especially since it is so hard to bend over. And, yes I know I need a pedicure, this one is the same one since June. Terrible I know.



Here is my belly at 33 weeks. I am having fun getting belly shots, much better than full out body shots.



Here is a quick one two count of me trying to get us in a picture together. I have to be super fast which doesn't make for the best pics but we still need them. Notice my pregnancy dark circles under my eyes, aren't they fab??

Swimming, BBQ & Playing Wii

It's not really a holiday weekend without a Daddy/Daughter jumping match.

Gwenie has become quite the swimmer and she is not yet 2 1/2, she loves to jump in the pool. Mark...get set....go!



Swimming is so great when you are pregnant, especially in the summer!



Gwenie could just live in the pool. Every two seconds she says, "Come on ______" whoever is the closest is who she asks to go into the pool with her.

A weekend by the pool is not complete without some lounging.



Gwenie and I were sharing a drumstick. She takes a bite and then I take a bite, it works out pretty well.



7 months and counting. I look really big since I am sitting down but I thought it was a cool pic.

horrible weekend

This was my horrible weekend:

1. It all started with having to go to the Dentist on Saturday. I am in preparations to getting braces and have to go to the dentist to get a "deep cleaning" done for the next couple of Saturday's (I am doing it on Sat. because I have no one to watch Gwen during the week and Brett can watch her on Sat.) Deep Cleaning involves millions of shots and pain after, and it has only just begun. To tell you a little bit of how much a HATE the dentist (long story) I would almost rather give birth then to go.

2. I came downstairs and opened the blinds in my kitchen to find that there is water damage to the wood floor, lots of it. I call our HOA and they send someone out to find out what is wrong, pipe leak/slab leak/many other crazy things. A guys comes out and he thinks it is a broken sprinkler and the water has been running under our house and has caused all this damage. We will see if the damage gets worse and if so, then it is not the sprinkler. Sometimes owning a house sucks. The picture below does not quite capture the damage, it is alot worse in person.



3. I get a call from my mom that my sister and her husband were in a terrible boating accident and almost died. I called my sister and she told me how she was stuck under the boat with stuff falling on her and getting tangled in things and trying to fight her way to the surface. My family is known for being claustrophobic and both of us are . Nightmares will now be prominent for me and also for her.

Needles to say it was and is a horrible weekend. Plus, Gwenie and I have had colds and that does not help. Luckily these things come in three's so we should be safe from anything else happening, right???
