it's not a dog

A couple of weeks ago we were at the park and a dog came up to Gwen and licked her and tried to jump on her and she did not like it (takes after her parents). Ever since then she has not liked dogs and is really cautious around them. Our next door neighbor has a little plastic dog that sits on their steps and Gwen is always watching it and making sure that it does not come near her and I keep telling her "it is not a dog" not a real one anyway. The way she looks at it and stays away from it keeps cracking me up.
