Vacation Part 3 - Zoo & 4th of July ( I mean 3rd of July since we are in Utah and the 4th was on a Sunday)

We took the kids to the zoo. I was really excited since they had elephants and a baby elephant and they are Gwen's favorite animal right now thanks to Dumbo.



It was SOOOO HOT the day we went, but it was fun for the kids to see all the animals.



The boys took Gwen & Mason inside the reptile house and Erin & I sat outside. It was nice to rest and sit in the shade.







So funny that Brett is larger than a adult male gorilla! Gorilla's seem soooo huge.




Since we were in Utah and the 4th of July landed on a Sunday this year all the festivities were on the 3rd of July. I of course had to buy the girls matching 4th of July dresses ( this is the only pic I got of the 2 girls sorry that Penelope is out of focus I have no idea how that happened).




I just love matching dresses and that I have 2 girls so that they can match! They will probably hate that I did it when they are older.




We went to one of the local Carnivals........




Rode all the rides the kids wanted to.










While Grahm & Penelope stayed in their strollers." This is how we roll" ( I love how they both are playing with their feet)




Who knows why I am standing so far away from everyone else?!?!?!?




Penelope is so good! She traveled really well and loved everyone. She is such a happy girl.







It was a great 4th , I mean 3rd of July.

Erin's house - vacation part 2

After we had tons of fun at my parents we then flew on a plane. It was Penelope's first time on a plane and she did awesome!

We relaxed the first day we got there but then on Wednesday the boys took Gwen & Mason camping. I got this picture before they left. Mason & Gwen were really excited to go.



Marc took these pictures on his iphone, I sent my small camera with Brett but he just got some video & this picture of him & Marc.







Erin & I stayed home with Grahm & Penleope. We did a little sewing but really went to the fabric stores so that I could buy TONS of fabric. I also got some great pictures of the 2 kids together. This one is so cute with them on their quilts that Erin & I made.









Penelope came over to me to play with my new camera strap and I got this great one with her between my legs.



When the boys got home we took the train downtown......



....... and ate at Pat's BBQ which is famous for its BBQ. It was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives the food network show. It was really yummy and tons of food.



We went to The Gateway to let the kids play in the fountains and to eat some yummy frozen yogurt.





We really kept ourselves busy on this trip and it was great.



The guys look a little miserable here don't they? Maybe because it was really hot and they were still recuperating from camping!

My parents house - vacation part 1

To start off our vacation we went to my parents house for 5 days. It was really great to have the girls around my parents since it never happens!

Every morning Gwenie would say, " Where's my Papa?" I would tell her where he was, which was always in his office on his computer. She would run to him and cuddle.



The girls played so great together, as they always do , and received tons of love from my parents.



I love my girls.



My sister Dori lives next door with her family and we hung out with them alot. Gwen just loved being around all of her cousins.



Brett has alot of fun with our nephews. They were playing Rock Band alot when I would get over there from my parents to find Brett. Most of the time I would see Gwenie with the microphone being the singer of their band. She loves to sing.



Dori has a trampoline in the backyard which Gwenie had never been on before. She loved it, all she wanted to do was jump. She liked it best when we would sit there and she could jump alone.





I brought along Gwenie's Dr. kit so that she could be Dr. Gwenie and boy did she. My poor dad went through all the tests. He couldn't stop laughing at what Gwenie would do with everything, she sometimes doesn't use the instrument they way it is supposed to! LOL.





Penelope just loved everyone and smiled and waved to anyone that was around.



We realized while we were there it was the first time that Brett feed Penelope! Poor guy has been so busy working long hours, this was the first time that Brett had taken a 2 week vacation since we have been married!



I got to sew with my Mom which was amazing!!!! She taught me how to sew clothes. Check out all that we made on Stitches and Scissors.



Penelope is getting ready to be a sewer. I got this picture since I have one of Gwenie almost just like it.



We were sad to leave. It was so nice being around my parents especially for the girls to get to be with them. Plus I just love that my Mom and I can sew together now. But we had a plane to catch to go to Erin's.

1st day = Bee's Game

We arrived in Salt Lake on Friday night to stay with our BFF's Marc, Erin & Mason. Gwenie LOVED the plane ride, she could not stop saying "Airplane Mommy, Airplane Daddy". She did hate wearing the seat belt on the plane though. We talked and hung out the first night and then Saturday we went to the Bee's game, which is the AAA team for the Angels.

It is a great place to take kids, since you bring blankets and sit on the grass so that they can run around. It was a gorgeous night so I took tons of pictures, I can't resist great lighting.

We took the train to the stadium, Gwenie's first time on a real train (Disneyland trains don't really count).

Mason had to deal with Gwenie wanting to give him hugs all day long.



I tried to get a pic of Erin and I since we never get one together, so I took this one on the train, not to bad.





The boys carried the kids since it was a busy area. So funny that both Mason and Gwenie are looking the same way in this pic.



The stadium was handing out batting helmets and Gwenie LOVED hers. Brett then went and bought him a Bee's hat too.

Gwenie kept rolling around on the grass, she just loved being out there.

All I can say about this pic is that we tried!

Such a sweet pic! Love it.



She loved everything about the game, if only they had this set up at the Angels stadium them we would go alot more.



She carried the mitt that Mason let her borrow just like a pro.



Last but not least we went and visited Bumble, the Bee's Mascot. Gwenie was a little nervous of him at first but once she saw Mason go up to him she was game. I don't know why she was nervous she loves all the characters at Disneyland.
