Flash Back.

Let me take you back to the early 1980's when fashion was not really fashion. Can you believe some of the things people wore?!?!?

When my family was all under one roof. Can you imagine 7 kids in 1 house, plus parents?? I can't and I think I have blocked out those early years when we were all living under one roof. I am the youngest of the 7, and as you can see I grew up with 3 older brothers. They (I really should say that I think it was mostly Tyson, he was always causing trouble) would put a laundry basket over me and then pile it with heavy blankets so that I could not escape, any wonder I am claustrophobic????

Devon, my bro, and I were always the closest. Oh, to have a rainy day again and play with his army men and legos in the entryway of the house. I miss those days. My parents said this was a classic Darci pose/face, I bet I was fun!

This is my mom. Isn't she so stylish??? I want those glasses. She always told me that she never got skinny again after me, but look at this picture, if that isn't skinny Mom, I don't know what is. I am about Gwenie's age in this picture and we are at the beach, no wonder I love the beach.

I was so excited to find this picture, to bad it is such bad quality. I had heard the story of how I broke my wrist when I was 2, but I had NEVER seen evidence of it. Apparently when you are the last of 7 children there is less picture taking, I can't really blame them. My wrist got caught in the doors at the supermarket. Maybe I am the reason that the doors now stop closing whenever anything gets in their path?!?! To this day this is the one and only time I have broken anything.

It was so fun to see all of these pictures from my past. I hope you got a good laugh at the hair dos and fashion of the 1980's.
