Hands & Feet - a day of mornings

Here we are again for our Day of Mornings. Randomly picked days of 2 friends sharing a glimpse into their lives in the mornings. My morning is brought to you today by Hands & Feet. (I really could not decide between the 2 pictures)

Feet peeking out of bed. How could I resist???

Me

Me

  1. Having a clean and picked up house is my goal in life. I never stop cleaning or picking up. I get it from my mom.
  2. My personality is such that once I make a decision I am impatient to do it and do it NOW!
  3. I love to be stylish. Especially in my clothes. Now that I am done with being pregnant, as I have been for the last 3years, I can finally get back to it.
  4. My Love Language is: Words of Affirmation.
  5. I have always hated my teeth and the dentist.
  6. I need books around me. I have to own them.
  7. I am caring.
  8. I am very affectionate.
  9. I am not educated in politics because I don't like politics. I wish they would go away. (I know my Dad and bro will kill me for saying that)
  10. I wish I was a journalist or a criminal attorney, but glad that I put my husband through school instead and then became a Mom.
  11. I need to work on my patience. I really don't have any.
  12. My biggest pet peeve is promptness. Reply in a timely manner, arrive when you say you will arrive, etc. (This stems from childhood when friends said they were coming over but never showed or called or came hours later. )
  13. I HATE to cook.
  14. I call my Mom for every question that I have, she always has the answer.
  15. On a funny note......My brothers used to call me Yoda since I would scrunch up my face like he did and my mom would have me wear those gown pj's in green like him. I was horrified the first time I saw Yoda.

I have seen a bunch of people over on flickr do this post and thought it would be really fun to do it on the blog and see if others will do it to. (Anyone up for it???) You have to take a picture of yourself and then make a list of 15 things about you.

The End - day 28

So sad but true. It is the end of A Month of Mornings. Erin and I decided to have a picture of all of us as a goodbye. We have had tons of fun and are going to continue to challenge eachother with occasionally texting each other with surprise pictures of the day.

The End.

I am getting my picture up so late since right after I took it we had to run to the car to go to the doctors. Penelope's eczema is TERRIBLE. We know what to do for eczema since Brett has had it his whole life and has seen numerous amounts of Dermatologists and they all tell him the same thing and we have done all of that with Penelope but is is just not getting better. So we got a prescription which we were hoping to avoid since it has steroids in it. Looks like I will be taking Penelope to a Dermatologist just to make sure there is nothing else to do for a baby who has eczema.

I also got these good ones of the girls this morning.

on a ride - day 28

Didn't get enough of driving with the top down yesterday with Brett (pics of that to come later today) so I took the car out by myself this morning for a little bit. Heaven.

A Week of Mornings - Day 3

I can't decide if I want to title this picture as " Defeated" or " i.need.sleep" ????

Defeated - week of mornings day 3

(I am still in my jammies and in my bedroom infront of my bed. And yes I realize that my mirror needs to be cleaned and that you can see all the dust )

I take after my Dad, we need no less than 9 hours of sleep to function. I wish I was like my Mom who needs much much less to function. You would think with a newborn, sorry 3 month old, that it would be her that was keeping me up, but no it is my almost 3 year old who just decided to wake up a billion times at night. Last night was no exception. This almost 3 year old, who will remain nameless for this post, usually goes to sleep at 8 p.m. but last night kept wanting or needing something until 10 p.m. then decided to wake up at 1 a.m. Lucky me woke up at 4 a.m. realizing that I started my period, oh joy! Then my almost 3 year old, yup still nameless, decided to again wake up at 6 a.m. after I thought I got her back to sleep I hear her at 6:45 a.m. talking to the 3 month old which of course woke her up when she has been sleeping through the night and was not supposed to wake up for hours yet! So I give up on trying to sleep for the next perceivable future. It may never happen again if things keep up like this. I wish I was my Mom.
