Coloring Eggs

We went over to Brett's parents to color eggs and have some fun. I had Gwen wear the purple sweater that Kami crocheted for her. It is soooo cute.

Melodie helped me alot with Gwen to color the eggs and get everything set up.





Luckily Gwen got into the whole thing once she saw the cups with the colors in them and found that the eggs transformed into colored ones. Of course she wanted all of them in the blue cup.



As you can see Brett just sat and watched! I don't blame him as we were both sooooo tired from only getting 3 hours of sleep that night. Gwen is having bad dreams and it is not helping in the sleep department.

The aftermath.....always such a mess.



Then as the eggs were drying the girls were napping and Kami & Melodie made chocolate covered rice krispies. Have you seen the commercial? This egg Melodie did and she of course covered the whole thing in chocolate.....my kind of girl!



Then we all had to eat one. Kami, as a joke, put some on Penelope's face! They sure were yummy.





Then the eggs were dry and ready to put stickers on. Gwen could not wait for this part. I got her Toy Story stickers and she had fun putting them on.



Brett even helped out.

Painting Eggs & Easter

We painted eggs with our neighbor and Gwenie's FAVORITE person, Kailey. Andy (Kailey's mom) got both of the girls bunny ears, Gwenie's didn't last long.

Gwenie would throw a egg into a bowl then run and get into the car. I don't think she totally got it.



I think it was more for me than Gwenie, painting the eggs. I love doing stuff like that.



We didn't know how Gwenie would do on Easter morning with finding the eggs, but once we showed her what to do she was all into it. The first thing she pulled out of her basket was the little box of "fishey's" aka goldfish and she carried them the whole time she found eggs. I know this picture is blurry of Gwenie but it just shows you how fast she was!



She loved her CAR's basket, it lasted 2 seconds as a basket and quickly turned into a car to take Ernie and Elmo everywhere.



My Mom made Gwenie this dress for Easter and I LOVE it. As you can see from the pictures Gwenie loved it too.



She could not stop lifting the skirt up and twirling!!!



I curled her hair and made a quick bow with the material from the dress and she was already for church.



Before we left she had to run over to Kailey's to show her the dress. "KAILEYYYYYYY" I swear in this picture you can totally tell that she is screaming Kailey's name as she runs.

The Easter Bunny is coming!

And apparently so is Elmo.

Since we will be gone on Easter, we thought we would wish everyone a Happy Easter from Gwenie the Easter Bunny. We hope everyone has a good visit from the Bunny.

P.S. I would like to leave a BIRTHDAY SHOUT OUT to all of those that will have B-Days while we are gone, Gweniveve (more on that when we get back) her BFF Sawyer, Dad (my FIL) and Abby. Happy Birthday everyone.
