To the wedding of Brett & Darci on August. 26, 2000.
This is our Engagement picture, I didn't want to put up our invitation because I do not like last names and addresses on the internet.
I thought this would be a great idea to show you all what our wedding was like, to reminisce. We were married on a really hot day in San Diego, it was a gorgeous day. My Mom made my wedding dress, my bridesmaid dresses and also did the flowers, she has many talents. Two of my sister's did my hair and I remember that I bought the tiara at a little cheap store in LA where we got all the fabric. I really only cared about my ring (Brett offered, without me even asking, for me to pick it out, way to go!!) my dress, the flowers and pictures. Everything else I really didn't care to much about. We had our reception in Brett's parents backyard and it was very pretty.
These are the picture that I had access to scan, so they are few, maybe some other time I can put up more.
I think sometimes that I would love to get married now because the photographers out there take the pictures that I have always wanted, so many more options out there. But I wouldn't trade all of these years that I have had with Brett, we have had to many experiences that I would never have had, plus I would have missed out on all these years of having "fun". (Obviously there was some lint on the scanner! Sorry)
This picture the photographer took without us knowing because they had said they were done and we were heading back to change, but I gave Brett a big smile and hug and they got this picture, it is one of my favorites.
To this day this is one of my favorite pictures of Brett, he just looks so suave and handsome.
This picture of me really shows off the dress really well, I still love that dress today, you did a great job Mom.
