I know it is not Mother's Day, but I wanted to say some words to my mom. I want her to know how proud I am of her. She has finished her last Chemo Treatment and has gone through it all being very upbeat. She has hardly complained, only to say that her legs have hurt her, and that is all, when anyone else would complain tons. (Which of course is crazy that she hasn't complained, who wouldn't?) I know it has been very awful for her and that to tell her she looks great. I love you mom. So here is one of her favorite picks of her when she was a senior in high school. She loves it because they got rid of her freckles.

Nice tribute! Your mom really is a trooper...she amazes me! By the way, I love the music on your blog...it takes me back to the KROQ days. We don't have any station like that here.
I want my kids to write stuff like this about me when they are old enough to write.
How great to have such a great example!
