Mazatlan was Brett's favorite out of the stops because it reminded him of Thailand (where he went on his mission). They had open markets Brett loved, but I did not, they smelled awful because of all the fish and meat out in the open, nasty!! The shopping was awesome!!! It was my favorite, I got Gweniveve and I the cutest sandals. We went on a little tour with 5 other people and we couldn't STAND our guide he wouldn't stop talking and he talked about the dumbest things.
The "police" were everywhere with AK-47, CRAZY.

So much fun! The picture with the police was pretty funny. Cute feet. Gwen looks so cute in all her little summer dresses and hats, and you too (in your summer clothes)!
I think I would be nervous around the AK-47s and I don't think I would like the open market with the fish and meat in the open (smelly).
I had sandals like that in H.S. They were my favorite pair until the strap over the big toe broke. If it hadn't broke I would probably still be wearing them today!

I went to Mazatlan with my roommates in college. I LOVED it there. The open markets were pretty gross, though.
