Gweniveve got sick last night and threw up for the first time, so she has the flu or the doctor said "virus", isn't that the flu??? Temp. of 103 and counting. Poor thing. Can't get comfortable and really wants to eat and have her milk bottle, but I am trying to follow the doctors orders. Hopefully it only lasts for the 3 days that the doctor said and she will be up and running around the neighborhood in her new Superhero Cape from Plum Pear Apple. Just waiting for the Cape to arrive. Don't worry I will have PLENTY of pictures of that.
P.S. I survived my first throwing up incident! Whoo Hoo!

Poor girl, I hope she makes it through the night without giving you a bunch more laundry to do! :)
Having sick kids is the worst! I hope she is feeling better soon.
What a bummer! I remember, before you had kids, that you thought baby food and throwing up were the grossest things! I remember you telling me how you NEVER thought you could handle either of those. I'm glad to hear that you survived your first episode of "the throw-ups" (as I like to call them). Devon is a total pro at the whole throw-up thing. The instant he sees one of the kids dry-heaving he grabs them and runs for the sink or the tub. He has been covered in the stuff numerous times, but never complains!! He is such a good dad. I will never forget the time he had rushed Luke to the bathroom, and, while running, got drenched. By the time, I reached the bathroom to help, Luke was throwing up in the tub and Devon was dry-heaving in the sink...it was awful!! Anyway, this is a really long comment...
Give Gweni lots of kisses from us and I hope she feels better soon. Ugh, the flu is just awful...I feel for you!!!!!!!
Kim,
Thanks. She is getting much better. I can't believe Devon is that good with it. I still never saw her throw up, just had to clean up after her because she did it at night, so maybe that will be the kicker.
that isn't a fun "first" but for her being this old, that is pretty good. I have to comment that I love checking your blog because you always have good music to listen to.
I'm impressed that it's taken her this long to throw up...I didn't think I could handle the throw-ups either, but you just learn to deal with it!
