Finally I got to put Gweniveve into her costume that my mom made! She was the talk of Disneyland, so many people commented to us on how they LOVED the costume and thought Gwenie was adorable. Thanks so much Mom, it was a hit!

As some of you know CA Adventure is decorated with Candy Corns, it was the perfect venue for Gwenie. Ms. Candy Corn.

Here she is on the run with candy in hand, she grabbed some from her bag before I could stop her. Apparently she really is from Brett's side of the family, they love Tootsie rolls. (I know you don't though Dad, just like me!)

She is trying to eat it through the wrapping, next time I will be faster :) As many of you know I don't give Gwenie candy, really why start? Put it off as long as possible, this was just a minor set-back.

Kami & Dad snuck into our picture, sneaky sneaky.

Kami & Gwenie, this was the one time Gwenie let someone else walk/hold her. She is going through the "I only want Mommy" stage.

Gwenie lasted longer than I thought she would in her costume, as you can guess it is a little bulky. Once she was done we put her in the stroller and got as much candy as we could. So much of it I can't eat with my braces, really we don't need it all, so I will be recycling and giving it out on Halloween, smart huh? Thanks Disney.
It was time to get Gwenie to bed so we headed to the tram, hence the bottle. I was hoping she would fall asleep any minute.

It really is the happiest place on earth. (I realize that this was CA Adventure, and this really applies to Disneyland, which in my opinion is WAY better!)

She is so dang cute and sooo excited to eat that candy!...i can't blame her!:)
Good luck keeping her away from the candy now that she has tasted the sweet goodness....shes hooked I saw the look in her eyes yesterday.
I love her costume she looks so sweet!!
I love the candy corn costume! Your mom is so talented! And yes...Disneyland is better than CA Adventure, but they're both great!
What a great costume! Tell your mom that is amazing! It looks like you guys had a fun time :D
She looks so adorable!!! I love that costume! Your mom did a great job.
Ya gotta love Disneyland! We're going to be getting a theme park, but I can't see them doing anything cute like that at a Bible theme park. Did I say we live in the Bible belt??? Cute pics.
How fun! I love her costume...so, so cute!
Well, well, What can I say as this was so fun to read about and enjoy the pictures. She really does look great and makes a terffic candy corn person... which in my opinion, is the worst tasting candy ever, don't give her any good candy or she will be hooked!!.
You guys have too much fun., I loved the whole blog about the tie-die day and graham cracker treats and the trip to the museum. Wow!
Love as usual, M
Cute costume. I usually make my kids costumes but I'm not really in the mood. I just finished cutting fabric out. Bwenie looks very cute in her costume. Your mom did a great job.
Definitely recycle candy. Great idea. I do that once we get home after trick-or-treating. We can't possibly eat it all and I don't want them eating it. Good idea to not let her eat candy. Wish I could have done that. It wasn't really an option. Family is big on sugar. Whenever we visit the in-laws I think it's all they eat while we are there....all I can say is...that's exactly why they don't get it at home. Good Job for not letting her have it!
Looks like SO much fun! I am jealous! And her costume? Your mom and you are so talented!!
She looks so cute!
she is adorable! your mom is one talented seamstress! do you have the great sewing gene also?
Bethany, I can sew but I don't compare to my mom who can do ANYTHING!
Okay next year I will have your mom make my kids!! haha Looks like a great time and when I get my passes we are sooo going:)
