A bunch of us met at Red Robin for dinner and then the girls all left to see the movie. Red Robin was really loud, but I got some cute pictures.
I think this is the first picture I like of me with my braces. Notice my hand holding Gwenie's head so that she would look at the camera, she just wanted to color.

Look at those eyelashes!

Her first corn dog.

What a nice Grandpa, she wanted to go on the carousel and he took her on it.

So I TOTALLY underestimated the "teeny bopper" girls that would be at Twilight. I was not prepared for them screaming every TWO seconds during the movie. Don't get me wrong it made for an interesting experience and it was super funny, but it got somewhat annoying when you missed part of the movie because you could not hear what was going on. I really need to go and see it again with out the "teeny bopper's" .
I was not letting myself get to excited for the movie because I really did not like the actor choices, but let me tell you once the movie started that all went away. Edward was still a great Edward even though I didn't think that I would like the actor that was chosen, boy was I wrong. I liked the movie, but thought there was way to many drawn out scenes where Bella and Edward just starred at eachother (and I am a total romantic, so that must tell you that their were just to many of those scenes). They left out alot of great dialogue from the book, they could have filled those drawn out starring scenes with some dialogue. I was a fan though and can't wait to see it again.
Kami, Jessica & I waiting in the theater. Really wanting the movie to start.

Abby and I talked about going in a few weeks (so there isn't the "teeny bopper" problem), we will let you know when we decide to go. I am glad to hear you liked it, it has been a mixed vote from people that I know that have seen it.
We are going tonight!...Can't wait! I hope there aren't any screaming girls--besides me of course!! haahaa
I will let you know what i think! The more i see the preview the more that the Edward they choose grows on me...but we will see!! :)
We went and saw the movie tonight!!!...And I really liked it!! Rett was surprised that he liked it too. Not as much as me...but he said that it was not as bad as he thought it would be!:) And I didn't think there was any overly awkward gawking scenes! I was a little bugged at how the young girls would scream and clap though! I will for sure need to go see it again! Good job Stephanie Meyer!...I can't wait to see the next one!!
(PS I think the guy playing Edward did a great job! Yeah, he wasn't has hot as I pictured 'Edward' to be when I read the book...but he played a great vampire!...he fit the movie perfectly I thought!!)
I am so glad you liked it. I am going Monday and can't wait. I'm a little worried about the teeny boppers too but I'm hoping they all went or will go Friday thru Sunday so I can enjoy a relatively scream/squeal free movie.
Love the pic of you in the braces. You were right...great pic!
So how was the movie?? We have to go and see it soon, since NO ONE i know (besides you, haha) will even attempt the 'teens!'
You all need help!! Per Brett Robert and Brett Allen. Brett, is it OK that I represent you on this?
Love Dad
