You get Tendinitis when you are in your 20's and you have to type with one hand and have problems doing everything that you need to do being a mom and have to wear this:

And this, because you had a dumb boyfriend once who had you on piggy back and ran fast through a doorway, your knee connected with the frame. You have to wear this to Disneyland and to walk for long distances:

When you are always saying, " I can't do that because it will hurt my back", " I can't open this, can you?" Yada Yada.
I mean really, what happened to things just rolling off of you when you are young. I swear I am young, but not when this stuff stops me from doing things. It is so frustrating.
Brett and I laugh sometimes because he has to wear braces on his shins because he gets shins splints and can't run or play the sports that he wants to play, let alone his favorite snow boarding. He has wrist problems because of a aliment that he has (that is a whole nother story) and elbow problems and major back issues, he sleeps with a heating pad on his back every night. There has not been a night in our marriage when he hasn't iced his wrists and back, even Gwenie knows how to get a ziplock bag out and fill it with ice for Brett. (Really funny the first time she did it, this girl misses nothing)
You just have to laugh and tell yourself that you are not young anymore. Sad but true.

Ohhh it sucks getting old huh?! I swear we aren't but....maybe we are?!
Don't worrie you're not old girl! You will look back at this time in your life(when you are old) and laugh at how you thought you were old.=)
I don't think you are old!! I hear you on the wrist thing I have had that since highschool from playing musical instruments....and knees I have horrible knees too. Hang in there. whenever my back is bothering me I always think the same thing...really I know it is only going to get worse.
I think it was because we were young and stupid and actually thought we were invincible and that was the reason we're in such bad shape now. You and your leg....me and my back. When I was at girls camp (of all places) we were t.ping cabins and I jumped off of a ledge and landed on a tree stump. I heard a crunch and my back hasn't been the same since. I feel super old when I can't even spend a day at Disneyland any more without being in complete misery and pain when I get home. I have always been anti medicine but have recently come to the conclusion that if I feel better then why not? Last time we went to Disneyland I took Motrin ever few hours and no pain. Plus, I have been seeing a Chiropracter. I wonder why I didn't go to one sooner now that I know how much better my back feels. You are so right though...sad but true.
That is so sad, both of you are just a mess of aches and pains. I wish that you could find something that helped you feel better!
I so understand, I crocheted allllll day long yesterday and my wrists were so swollen that I went to bed with ice on them. It must be a family curse that you married into Darci, sorry!!! =) I choose not to believe that we're old, just that we're a mess!
I just had to check...you have posted 17 posts in 17 days....good job! You are more than half way done...yay!
Yes.... but look how beautiful your nails look! (:
You are a wreck girl!!! What is funny is that Derek and I are going through the same stuff!!! It is so the age to start falling apart isn't it!
I can so totally sympathize! I tell Tyson all the time I still think of myself as the 22 year old he married. I have almost killed myself a couple times trying to show off to the kids! I just need to get through my head that back-handsprings, and aerials are not in my future. (or present) Also, I want so bad to be a runner, but it seems every summer I end up with some phantom pain that only shows itself when I run very far. Plus, I might consider botox soon. I read it should be part of the grooming process like pedicures or eyebrow waxing?
