We finally got out of the house!

My sister Dori and her kids came into town on Friday and wanted to go to the beach. Brett took the day off and we met them in Oceanside at the beach. Well needless to say it was 80 degrees when we left and when we got to the beach it was windy and cold around the mid 60's.

Shelby (my niece) was nice enough to take Gwenie into the water since Brett and I were huddled under towels. We were not prepared for the cold, it did not phase Gwenie since she ran into the water and wanted to stay there.

After we got her out of the water, Shelby gave Gwenie her shirt so that she could be warmer.

My nephew and niece were having tons of fun in the water with there skim boards and boogie boards, Gwenie just wanted to ride the waves with them all. We have a daredevil on our hands, she wants to try and do anything!!!! She is definitely not a girly girly, she can already ride our neighbors skateboard!

My nephew Braccen was VERY excited to have surfed for the first time!

Surfed for the 1st time

As we were getting ready to leave Shelby and Tanner found some cool Starfish and then released them back into the ocean! They were really cool to look at.

I hope you are all happy that I made it back, finally, into the blogging world. (hehe) I feel my nesting stage coming on and I am ready to de-clutter and organize everything, I hope I am feeling good soon, so that I can get it done.

Looks so fun! Too bad it was a little cold but Gwen still looked like she had a great time.

How fun! Love the beach. We have been waiting for it to warm up a bit. Although, I am really enjoying this cool weather. Before we know it, it will be in the 100's. Glad you guys had a great time. Love the picture of gwennie on the board.
